Job Details- Assignment Type: Locum tenens (travel contract)
- Location: Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870 - Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina (local travel CRNA opportunity)
- Start Date: July 6, 2026
- Duration: 20 weeks (with potential for extension)
- Shifts per Week: 5
- Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts (7am-3pm weekdays)
- Call Schedule: One night of call per week (3pm-7am) and 1:5 weekend call rotation
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,990 - $4,650 per week
- Active CRNA certification and state licensure in North Carolina (or eligible for NC licensure)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of CRNA clinical experience
- Proficiency with epidural placement, labor epidurals, and spinals/ITNs in obese patients
- Comfortable providing anesthesia care for pediatric patients
- Experience with EPIC EHR preferred
- Provide inpatient perioperative anesthesia services for general surgery, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, and podiatry
- Perform epidurals, spinals, and moderate procedural sedation (including occasional ER cases)
- Deliver obstetric anesthesia services including labor epidurals when applicable
- Collaborate with a team of 4 experienced CRNAs and 1 MDA (MD anesthesiologist)
- Participate in the established call rotation (one night per week and every 5th weekend)
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia care in a busy surgical setting (approx. 200 cases/month)
- No code response or ER backup required
- Work with a supportive, experienced anesthesia team and physician backup
- Diverse caseload across general, orthopedic, obstetric, and pediatric cases
