Cardiology Physician

We are seeking a Cardiologist for a locum tenens opportunity that combines hospital consults, hospital call, and outpatient clinic coverage. This role follows a rotating structure consisting of one week of inpatient call coverage followed by one week of outpatient clinic coverage.

Schedule Structure:

• Week 1: Hospital call
  • Monday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM
• Week 2: Clinic coverage
  • Monday Friday
  • 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

This rotation continues throughout the assignment. Coverage requires two physicians monthly to support two weeks of call and two weeks of clinic.

Clinical responsibilities include inpatient cardiology consults, diagnostic interpretation, and outpatient evaluation and management.

Procedures and Services Include:

• Hospital consults
• TEEs
• Echocardiograms
• Nuclear cardiology testing
• General cardiology call coverage

All orientation hours are payable
Malpractice coverage provided
Credentialing support (up to 120 days if not previously credentialed; temporary privileges available with a clean file)
Balanced inpatient and outpatient schedule
