At District Taco our managers don’t just manage but lead their Teams! You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a great Guest experience by ensuring that our food is prepared and served in a safe manner while maintaining our high-quality standards. You will be responsible for everything from maintaining a clean and functional service line and lobby to on the spot developing and coaching of your CTs and Team Members.

Core Responsibilities

Maintaining quality by monitoring staff and sampling products at various stages of production

Enforcing District Taco's safe food handling practices using the HACCP plan

Overseeing all aspects of food preparation

Working to ensure that the restaurant opens and closes according to company standards

Communicating concerns and needs with supervisors and staff

Assessing general enthusiasm and morale to find ways to improve Team Member wellbeing

Working towards healthy communication among team members

Communicating clear expectations to Team Members and guiding staff to ensure prescribed goals are met

Acknowledging positive and negative behavior through progressive discipline forms

Monitoring hourly labor, coordinating breaks and clocking-out Team Members as needed

Maintaining organization of storage areas to ensure rotation of goods

Assessing needs and ordering supplies for the restaurant

Overseeing Catering orders

Controlling alcohol sales to ensure proper handling guidelines are met

Ensuring that all cash is counted and logged throughout shifts

Interacting with guests and Team Members to ensure customer satisfaction

Resolving customer service issues if they arise

Qualifications

District Taco Certified Trainer

Possesses strong skills in communication, listening, collaboration, adaptability, empathy, and patience

Have a true passion for facilitating all of District Taco’s operational procedures

Possesses a strong knowledge of all District Taco’s Team Member Policies

Knowledge of Food Safety and health department policies

Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
