
Project Coordinator

Overview
Our client's project management team is looking for a data entry and customer service candidate to support the goal of reducing the workload on the project managers and improving the company's ability to set up new locations more efficiently. The candidate will be responsible for processing network requests for new, move, and closed sites, requesting circuit quotes, ordering network equipment, scheduling site visits, communicating with the field, and documenting the process.
Key Responsibilities
Process network requests for new, move, and closed sites.
Request circuit quotes, order network equipment, and schedule site visits.
Communicate with field personnel and document all interactions.
Review incoming network requests and assign appropriate tasks.
Record all communications and network site information on each service request.
Request circuit quotes from approved vendors and manage costs through analysis.
Coordinate site visits between vendors and field employees.
Order network hardware from approved vendors.
Escalate to Telecom leadership if vendor performance is unsatisfactory.
Schedule site tests and turn‑ups with necessary internal teams.
Coordinate with the internal NOC team to assign resources for site tests.
Provide regular updates to the field regarding their network requests.
Document interactions with field employees to improve future support.
Identify process areas lacking documentation.
Coordinate with the Telecom Projects team to update existing process documents.
Skills & Qualifications
Project coordination, inventory management, telecommunications knowledge (Cisco routers), and experience using a Project Management System. Entry level.
Contract Details
Type: Contract
Location: Charlotte, NC (hybrid)
Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
