The Staff Financial Analyst (SFA) plays a critical role in aligning strategic investments with business leaders, evaluating financial impact from operations initiatives, and building AI‑enabled financial models to drive critical insights to enable effective decision making.

Responsibilities
YOU WILL PARTNER across Finance Teams And Cross‑functional Teams To Ensure Financial Outcomes Are Tightly Linked To Operational Drivers And Decisions- Enabling Growth, Efficiency, Innovation, And Insight Across ICs. Examples Of Projects And Responsibilities Include:

Strategic & Financial Planning

Partner with ICS Finance and ICS business teams to develop short‑ and long‑term strategic and financial plans, identifying opportunities for investment and growth

Build and refine AI‑enabled financial models to evaluate business performance, unit economics, and ROI

Partner with business teams to execute strategic plans via a tight, agile loop of investing, testing, and learning to optimize capital allocation

FP&A Excellence

Drive mid‑month and month‑end financial review across Finance, workforce management, product management, business operations, and analytics teams

Own alignment on driver‑based forecasts, risks/opportunities management, and facilitating timely escalation where needed to keep business target on track

Leverage AI‑first mindset and infrastructure to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness across FP&A workflow

Business Partnership & Impact

Serve as a trusted advisor to business partners, balancing financial discipline with business agility to drive delivery of results

Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights and executive‑level recommendations to enable timely business decisions

Support leadership presentations and communication with key stakeholders across finance, operations, and product teams

Qualifications

8+ years of professional experience in consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, or data science in a tech company

Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience in Python or SQL preferred

A proactive self‑starter who thrives in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments. Collaborative team player with a growth mindset and intellectual curiosity

Strong problem‑solving skills combined with bias to action, with demonstrated ability to translate data into strategic insights and business results

Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience conveying insights to senior audiences

Bachelor degree in business or finance area required; advanced degree or certification such as MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred

Compensation and Benefits
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. This position may be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:

Bay Area, California: $154,000–208,500

Southern California: $142,000–192,000
