Metal Fabrication Productivity Specialist
Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. | Washington State

Serve as a technical productivity and welding applications specialist supporting sales teams and metal fabrication customers across Washington State. Partner with customers to improve fabrication efficiency through applied welding engineering, cutting and processing technologies, and integrated automation solutions delivered in collaboration with Linde’s in‑house automation team.

Key Contributions & Responsibilities

Serve as a technical specialist supporting sales teams with productivity‑focused metal fabrication solutions

Evaluate customer operations to recommend improved welding processes, preparatory shielding gas applications, and cutting and processing equipment

Promote and support Linde cutting and processing technologies, including Plasma and Laser processing solutions

Collaborate with Linde’s in‑house automation and robotics team to identify, position, and support automated fabrication solutions

Assist customers with implementation, commissioning, and optimization of fabrication and automation technologies

Conduct on‑site productivity assessments to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, throughput, and quality

Provide hands‑on troubleshooting and technical consultation to resolve welding, cutting, or process‑related challenges

Support customer and internal training initiatives related to welding processes, gas applications, equipment, and automation concepts

Lead or assist with product demonstrations, customer events, and trade shows showcasing fabrication, cutting, and automation solutions

Maintain strong technical relationships with key accounts through consistent engagement and solution stewardship

Support the introduction of new fabrication, cutting, and automation technologies aligned with customer needs

Monitor metal fabrication market trends and competitive activity to identify productivity opportunities

Additional compensation may vary depending on the position and organizational level

Pay range: $108,225 - $128,730 yearly (depending on experience)

What makes you great:

High School Diploma/GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred

7+ years Outside Sales experience preferred

Strong negotiation skills

Prior Industry experience is required

Certification as a Welding Inspector or Welding Educator preferred

Upholds high standards of honesty and integrity
