Night Shift Metal Fabrication Superintendent $1673 WEEKLY Join Savard Personnel Group - where your skills are valued! Key requirements: High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification in welding, fabrication, or manufacturing preferred Experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing operations Leadership experience at a supervisor or management level Strong knowledge of fabrication processes (laser cutting, CNC punching, forming, welding, assembly) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience with lean manufacturing, process improvement, or Six Sigma principles preferred Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with basic computer systems and production reporting tools Lead and manage daily operations across metal fabrication departments (laser, punch, press brake, welding, assembly) Oversee supervisors and team leads to ensure production targets, schedules, and KPIs are consistently met Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve workflow Ensure all fabrication processes meet quality standards and customer specifications Monitor staffing levels, scheduling, and labor utilization to meet demand Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve production issues Review production reports and implement corrective actions as needed Support new product launches, process changes, and equipment implementation Develop and mentor supervisors and high-potential employees Shifts: 6:00 PM - 5:30 AM Monday - Friday some Saturdays Duration: Direct hire
