
Senior Systems Architect

T-Rex Solutions LLC is a leading business combining innovative Next Generation IT ("NGIT") capabilities and skills to provide industry-leading solutions to the federal government with a focus on cloud infrastructure and engineering, cybersecurity, and large systems integration. T-Rex is part of the winning team awarded a program supporting the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) by providing enterprise architecture, data, and engineering services to USTRANSCOM, US Air Force Air Mobility Command (AMC), and US Army Surface Deployment Distribution Command (SDDC). The team will develop and deliver enterprise architecture products, capability prototypes, system plans, enterprise cloud services, cybersecurity solutions, and data management services; as well as provide enterprise architecture tool operations support for service offerings across USTRANSCOM and its Transportation Component Commands. As the command transitions into commercial cloud services and future capabilities, T-Rex will support integration efforts to perform analysis across enterprise, systems of systems, and individual system levels as well as assist the Government in developing enterprise strategies, technical standards, and services. All work will be performed at Scott Air Force Base.
Responsibilities
Support a specialized enterprise architecture team in the design, development, and evaluation of proofofconcept (PoC) solutionsthat enhance the creation, automation, and validation of enterprise architecture artifacts, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and business process models
Translate mission, operational, and architectural requirements into authoritative enterprise architecture productsthat support decisionmaking and regulatory compliance
Prepare and maintain defect reports, track corrective actions, and provide clear status reporting on test activities and outcomes
Lead root cause analysis and resolutionof complex architectural, process, and integration issues impacting enterprise systems and information exchange
Produce and deliver highquality documentation, briefings, and analytical productsusing Microsoft Office applications in support of the USTRANSCOM Enterprise Architecture team
Lead configuration, change control, and scope management activities, ensuring architectural integrity and alignment with approved baselines and governance processes
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (or equivalent experience - 4 years related experience can substitute a degree)
Secret Security Clearance (or higher)
IAM Level I or better (e.g., Security+)
12+ years of experience in systems engineering and support OR 10 years of experience with a Master's degree
Able to recognize the business process, organizational issues, and opportunities.
Able to identify and makemoderate Business Process and Organizational improvement recommendations.
Ableto participate in Business Process Mapping (BPM) sessions and document process flows in Visio or another relevant BPM tool.
Self-motivated, with some experienced working in a self-directed way in an ambiguous business environment.
Experience working directly with business stakeholders.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations and presentations.
Able to lead moderate complexity sessions to analyze, diagnose, and resolve unpredictable and varied problems using a variety of methods and tools.

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $120,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
