Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist
Work Schedule: 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm Start
Purpose
Performs daily routine inventory cycle counting tasks and recommends changes on inventory counts to the warehouse supervisor and processes any changes necessary and approved.
Responsibilities
Perform daily cycle counting tasks and recommend needed changes
Process inventory changes or product(s) re-slotting as instructed by the warehouse supervisor
Process inventory changes within Triceps
Supports system training needs for shift employees responsible for inventory movement
Works closely with supervisor to facilitate timely and efficient inventory movement
Provides daily operational inventory system reports from Triceps Inventory Management Systems
Process random weight and/or produce orders as required to facilitate inventory counts and shipping practices
About You
High School diploma or equivalent
Proficiency using computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
One year experience in warehouse inventory control systems or related equivalent
Certification in operation of power equipment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a multitask environment
Positive work history including safety and attendance
Able to handle fast paced environment
Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking
Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills
Attention to detail and analytically driven
Ability to work independently and within a team
Physical Requirements
Must be able to bend, twist, kneel, squat, turn, reach, pull, push, balance and lift objects up to 85 pounds, in a fast-paced environment for extended period of time
Must be able to transport various objects weighing 20-85 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift
Must have the ability to stand, walk and move about for extended periods of time
Must be able to stand and balance throughout the shift while operating industrial equipment
Requires the ability to push, pull, grasp, twist and use sawing motions for extended periods of time
Required to pass physical capacity test at 100%
Regularly works in warehouse environment with heat and cold, including freezers, coolers and refrigerators in temperatures as low as -15 degrees Fahrenheit
