Fire Alarm Manager
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Fire Alarm Manager to oversee and lead our fire alarm division. This individual will be responsible for managing daily operations, supervising technicians, ensuring code compliance, and driving project execution from start to finish. This is a confidential search for a key leadership role within a growing organization. This position will be in the New York City Metro area.
What You'll Do
Manage all fire alarm projects including installations, inspections, testing, and service
Supervise and support field technicians, programmers, and subcontractors
Ensure compliance with NFPA codes, local regulations, and safety standards
Coordinate scheduling, manpower, and project timelines
Review drawings, submittals, and specifications
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams
Monitor job costs, budgets, and profitability
Assist in estimating, bidding, and proposal development
Implement and improve operational processes and workflows
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality
What You Bring
Minimum 5+ years of experience in fire alarm systems (installation, service, or management)
Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
Strong knowledge of NFPA 72 and related codes
Experience with major fire alarm systems (e.g., Notifier, Simplex, EST, Siemens)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
NICET certification (preferred but not required)
Valid driver's license
What We Offer
Competitive salary (commensurate with experience) Range: $135,000-$155,000 per year
