Administrative Support Associate
The RFID Lab at Auburn University is accepting applications for the position of Administrative Support Associate. This position will be responsible for planning and coordinating student-focused programs for RFID Lab student employees.
Responsibilities
Recruits and coordinates student travel; prepares and processes travel/expense vouchers and reimbursements for RFID Lab students
Hires, on-boards, trains and supervises students; compiles and maintains student data/records to ensure accessible records such as student scheduling, timekeeping, reports, etc.
Assists and advises students on related issues such as University or departmental policy, assistantships, internships, job skill development, field experiences, etc.
Participates and assists in special activities of the RFID Lab including board meetings, workshops, lab tours, guest visits or other events
As needed, provides support to other RFID Lab program initiatives including: calendars and scheduling, mail distribution, telephones and greeting, supplies and inventory, and other support duties of the RFID Lab.
Qualifications
Level I
High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in clerical and administrative support services
Level II
High school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience in clerical and administrative support services
A degree may substitute for years of experience.
