We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician to provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care at OMH starting October 2026. In this vital position, you will deliver comprehensive OB/GYN services, including low and high-risk pregnancies, routine and complicated deliveries, gynecological procedures, and emergency care. Collaborating with an experienced team and utilizing advanced resources, you will ensure optimal patient outcomes in a Level 2 trauma setting. This opportunity is perfect for local physicians seeking meaningful work with a consistent schedule of around 10 clinic shifts per month, with occasional night or call shifts.

Required Skills:

• Medical license in Michigan and Board Certification in OB/GYN
• Proven experience managing both low and high-risk pregnancies
• Proficiency in obstetric procedures including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and management of complications
• Strong knowledge of gynecological surgeries and emergency procedures
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in a Level 2 trauma center
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR system
• Experience with complex obstetric cases (e.g., multiple gestations, preeclampsia)
• Ability to handle night or on-call shifts effectively

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in OB/GYN practice
• Current Michigan medical license and valid board certification

Other Requirements:

• Must be local to the Gaylord area
• Availability for a minimum of 5 shifts per week, including occasional night or call shifts
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment
• Willingness to adhere to hospital protocols and maintain up-to-date certifications
