Locum Physician - OB/GYN Position in Gaylord, MI

Our practice offers comprehensive services with two physicians on staff, and we focus on both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies. The facility features an onsite lab and ultrasound, ensuring you have the resources needed to deliver excellent patient care. With an average of 1-2 patients scheduled each day and a supportive nursing staff in the labor and delivery department, this is a great opportunity for dedicated healthcare professionals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide OB/GYN call coverage starting in October with ongoing shifts.
• Conduct 10 clinic shifts each month, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
• Handle occasional night and call shifts, including 24-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM.
• Manage routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections and breech births.
• Perform gynecological procedures such as ectopic pregnancies and cystectomies.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Meditech EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified OB/GYN (no Board Eligible candidates).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Active Michigan medical license at the time of application.
• Clean background check for quick credentialing.
• COVID vaccination required upon submission.
• Participation in Michigan Medicaid/CHAMPS.
• Self-query NPDB (to be pulled within the month).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Michigan License (MI CSR).
• Board Certification in OB/GYN.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
