Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician for a locum hospitalist opportunity in Fresno, California. This role offers flexible 24-hour shift options, strong facility support, and travel coverage.

Facility Overview

• Community hospital

• 375-bed facility

• OB Hospitalist coverage

• Epic EMR

• Approximately 20% Gynecology cases

• No trauma designation

Shift Options
Flexible hospitalist shifts available:

• 7:00 AM 7:00 AM (24 hours)

• 7:00 AM 7:00 PM

• 7:00 PM 7:00 AM

Coverage needed for various dates in March and April.

Scope of Practice

Obstetrics

• Low-risk and high-risk pregnancies

• Fetal monitoring interpretation (NST, CST, FSE)

• OB ultrasound interpretation

• Level I & Level II ultrasounds

Labor & Delivery

• Vaginal deliveries

• Forceps deliveries

• C-sections

• Breech deliveries

• Multiple births

• High-risk obstetric emergencies

Gynecology

• Surgical gynecology procedures

• Ectopic pregnancy treatment

• Oophorectomy

• Cystectomy

• Complex operative cases

Requirements

• Board Certified in OB/GYN

• Active California License

• BLS Certification

• Clean background with no malpractice history

• Recent Self-Query NPDB report required

• Must be comfortable performing the full range of OB/GYN procedures listed
