Medix is seeking a versatile and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for a dynamic travel contract with one of our client facilities. This position offers the opportunity to provide essential therapy services across both Outpatient and Inpatient settings, treating a broad and complex patient population.

As the Physical Therapist, you will be a key clinician responsible for evaluating and treating patients across a wide spectrum of cases, including surgical, neurological, pediatric, geriatric, and vestibular conditions. This role is ideal for a clinician seeking diversity in their practice and is open to qualified PTs, including new graduates.

Location: Gillette, Wyoming

Facility Type: Outpatient and Inpatient Setting

Start Date: ASAP

Length of Assignment: Approximately 13 Weeks (520 Expected Hours)

State License Needed: Wyoming (WY) Physical Therapist license

Schedule: Monday to Friday, five 8-hour shifts, 8 AM - 5 PM, 40 hours/week.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive Physical Therapy (PT) services in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Manage a varied caseload encompassing surgical, neuro, pediatric, geriatric, and vestibular patient populations.
• Maintain a patient load that is highly variable, ranging from 8 to 20 patients per day, depending on the complexity of the cases and patient needs.
• Document all evaluations, treatments, and patient progress using Epic-based Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platforms.
