Accounts Payable II
This position serves as a technical expert within the Accounts Payable team. The AP II is responsible for overseeing the accounts payable function across multiple production facilities, supporting the month-end close process, and assisting accounting management with various duties as needed.
As part of the application process, candidates are required to complete the Culture Index Survey. Completion of this survey is necessary to move forward in the screening process.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the accounts payable function for multiple production facilities
Process invoices on a daily basis
Follow up with vendors and internal personnel to resolve accounts payable issues
Prepare financial and management reports as required
Prepare supporting documentation for month-end closing journal entries
Understand, communicate, and enforce accounting policies and procedures established by FPL
Education:
Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business OR
510 years of accounts payable experience (manufacturing industry preferred)
Experience:
510 years of experience in accounts payable
510 years of experience with accounting systems and procedures
Skills & Competencies:
Demonstrated leadership ability and strong interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer service and relationship management skills
Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in:
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Word
Microsoft Outlook
Travel Requirements:
Up to 10% travel may be required
