Requirements
- Current, full, and unrestricted medical license in the U.S. (any state/territory/DC)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in relevant specialty
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (or equivalent)
- Ability to comply with medical staff policies, safety standards, and clinical protocols
- Provide urgent care evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans
- Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records on the same day
- Stabilize patients and arrange transfer when higher-level care is required
- Provide discharge instructions and patient education
- Follow medication safety policies (no sample medications)
- Participate in quality improvement, safety reporting, and staff meetings
