Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Coverage Needed :

• Start Date: July 2026
• End Date: 12/31/2026
• 10 clinic shifts per month, Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm (one day may include surgeries)
• Occasional night or call shifts
  • 24-hour call shifts: 7 am - 7 am

• Total Number of Beds: 6
• Average Number of Scheduled Patients Per Day: 1-2
• Onsite Lab & Ultrasound
• Support Staff: Nursing staff on the L&D floor, 2 physicians in practice
• Percentage of Practice - Low Risk Pregnancy: 46 patients total due in August
• Percentage of Practice - High Risk Pregnancy: 28%
• Percentage of Practice - GYN: 50%
• Average Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day: 1-2
• EMR: Meditech
• Trauma Level/Designation: Level 2
• Required Obstetrics Procedures: Low Risk Pregnancy, High Risk Pregnancy
• Labor and Delivery Required Procedures: Routine Delivery, Complicated Delivery, Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations
• Gynecology Required Procedures: Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOA's

Requirements :

• Board Certified OBGYN (no BE)
• BLS & ACLS
• Local, drive-in providers
• Active MI license at time of submission
• Clean background for quick credentialing
• COVID vaccination at time of name clear
• Currently participates in MI Medicaid/CHAMPS
• Self-Query NPDB (should be pulled within the month) at time of presentation
• Must be available for a minimum of 5 shifts
