Purpose
Innovative Medicine Transcend is a global business transformation program to modernize foundational Supply Chain processes and harmonize them into one “clean” ERP platform (SAP S/4HANA). The program will simplify the Pharm ERP landscape from seven to one by standardizing processes to create a cost‑effective, fit‑for‑purpose digital backbone that enables the Pharm business to operate with agility. R&D is an integral part of the Transcend program, transforming and standardizing relevant R&D Supply Chain processes and aligning them to the global Transcend template.
Responsibilities
Own the R&D Advanced Therapies process roadmap by translating R&D business strategies into prioritized capabilities aligned with the Transcend template and design decisions.
Define future capabilities and requirements for R&D to support Cell & Genes, including clear value hypotheses and success measures.
Partner with the Transcend Global Template Owner to translate capabilities into the SAP template, driving harmonization and standardization across R&D and supporting business sign‑off on key process outcomes.
Drive cross‑functional convergence across Innovative Medicine Supply Chain and R&D TDS by aligning priorities across functions on the future process, associated value, and value realization approach.
Lead R&D global process governance decision forum within the scope of Advanced Therapies.
Drive continuous improvement post go‑live by tracking process performance and partnering on actions to improve outcomes.
Approximate Time Allocation
40%: Business strategy, capability roadmaps
30%: Global process ownership and governance

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred in Information Systems, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
8+ years of R&D or Supply Chain leadership experience (preferably in Advanced Therapies).
Proven results as a global BPO and/or transformation leader.
Experience in business value realization and measurement.
Demonstrated strategic thinking and the ability to translate strategy into actionable priorities.
Experience defining a business roadmap based on template capabilities offered (current and future).
Strong knowledge of regulated environments.
Strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP S/4HANA experience (make, logistics, master data).
SAP data objects related to core manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of integrations with MES and Quality Systems.
Travel up to 10%.
