
Clinical Nurse Supervisor - 2 North (Full Time, Night)

At NorthBay Health the Clinical Nurse Supervisor is a transformational leader who functions as the first‑line shift supervisor for the unit and has the following responsibilities:
Works under the supervision of the Clinical Manager
Has the responsibility, accountability, and the authority to deliver safe, effective, excellent nursing care according to the philosophy and goals/objectives of the organization Patient Care Services Division
Utilizes Jean Watson’s Theory of Caring, Relationship Based Care, and NorthBay’s professional nursing practice model, supports the mission, vision, values and expectation of excellence of the organization
Responsible for leadership and supervision of direct care staff, daily operations, leading the team to meet service goals, maintaining and promoting professional development
Delegates care to other health care personnel consistent with their scope of practice, job description, competency
Other duties as assigned
Education
Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing required (Employees who are grandfathered are exempted).
Licensure
Valid and current RN license by the State of California.
Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS.
National Certification preferred
Professional Organization Membership preferred
Experience
Minimum of three years of acute care experience in area of specialty required.
Demonstrated leadership abilities.
National certification in specialty area preferred.
Communication
Proficient written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.

Schedule:
36 hours weekly
