Shift Description
24-Hour In-House Call

Requirements
Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Must be licensed in Washington or IMLC
ACLS, BLS
Procedures:
Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder - cautery vs. laser, injection of varices, ERCP - diagnostic and therapeutic, PEG)
Lower GI endoscopy
Sigmoidoscopy (flexible)
Colonoscopy (with biopsy, excision of polyp)

Assignment Details
Level III trauma facility
Provider takes call, 5 MAC cases, and hospital rounding
EMR: Epic
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days (Temporary privileges available)
