An opportunity has arisen for a Development Manager to join a privately backed real estate investment and development platform delivering high‑value residential and mixed‑use projects across the United States. This is an execution‑first role, ideal for a Development Manager who thrives in lean environments and enjoys acting as the "quarterback" across complex developments.
Key Responsibilities

Acting as the execution lead across pre‑development, design, and construction phases
Managing consultants, design teams, general contractors, and joint‑venture partners
Owning project schedules, budgets, reporting, and decision tracking
Leading design coordination meetings and ensuring follow‑through on action items
Supporting entitlement, permitting, and jurisdictional approvals
Partnering with internal capital markets and finance teams on budgets, draw requests, and reporting
Providing structure, momentum, and mentorship within a growing development team
This Development Manager role is not underwriting‑led and does not require deal sourcing experience.
Profile

4-7+ years of experience in real estate development, owner's representation, or construction management
Exposure to residential, multifamily, condominium, or mixed‑use developments
A proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and external consultants simultaneously
Strong organizational and communication skills with a bias toward execution
A self‑starter comfortable operating in a lean, fast‑moving environment
Confidence without ego - able to lead without needing to be the loudest voice in the room
Experience running design meetings, managing budgets, and driving schedules
Location flexibility is available, with preference for candidates based in Texas or Florida.
Job Offer

Base salary in the range of $125,000 to $150,000 plus annual bonus. There is flexibility for well qualified candidates and specific salary to be determined based on best overall fit.
