Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, cold calling, and consultative sales techniques.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing solutions tailored to their shipping needs.
Act as a consultative resource to customers regarding service offerings, market trends, and industry standards.
Provide accurate and competitive freight quotes by considering all variable factors.
Manage customer shipments, ensuring seamless coordination and proactive communication to meet service expectations.
Work closely with dispatch and operations teams to optimize load planning and execution.
Meet or exceed sales goals and performance metrics through consistent effort and engagement.
Continuously improve industry knowledge through sales training and market trend analysis.
Qualifications
Prior sales experience, particularly in inside sales, logistics, or transportation.
Strong negotiation skills, persuasiveness, and confidence.
Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize profitable opportunities.
Effective and professional written and verbal communication.
