Basic Qualifications
Secret Security Clearance
5 years of professional experience in operational planning or scheduling
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Proficient with scheduling tools such as Open Plan, Primavera, MS Project, or ProjectView
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities
Proficient at developing and maintaining complex network schedules, including integrity checks, critical path analysis, and schedule risk analysis
Experience analyzing planning metrics and trends, and implementing actionable improvement plans
Experience delivering project briefings to internal and external customers
Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) including cost and schedule integration
Effective team‑building skills
Influencing and relationship‑management skills
Bachelor’s degree

Lockheed Martin . The Skunk Works® Program in Aeronautics seeks world‑class talent in Program Planning to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. This role involves planning for advanced fighter jets, unmanned aerial systems, and modernizing national defense aircraft.
The Program Planning team supports program management and enterprise performance, organizing tasks, scheduling design, development, and sustainability of products. The role requires breaking down product tasks, setting sequences and durations, and ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, and quality outcomes.
Summary of Key Duties
Lead planner responsible for a specific function of a Skunk Works® program
Develop, maintain, and analyze program schedules
Serve as a trusted advisor and model planning excellence for the team
Collaborate across engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, production, and quality control
Communicate effectively and collaborate with multiple functional areas

Deltek Open Plan Scheduling Tool
Milestones Professional
Microsoft Excel
Secondary Tools Used (Not Limited To)
Microsoft Project
SAP
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance
Occasional travel to suppliers or other facilities
Desired Skills
Experience as a planning team lead and/or contract planner
Proposal experience
Strong knowledge of LM Program Performance Management (PPM) Command Media
Supplier integration experience, performance analysis, and corrective action recommendation skills
Familiarity with risk and opportunity management, including identification, integration, and mitigation
Deep knowledge of Deltek Open Plan
Product life‑cycle management tools and FAMSCO experience
Schedule risk assessment (SRA) experience
Prior aerospace experience
Active Secret Security Clearance; ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance

Position is located in Fort Worth, Texas. Onsite full‑time.
