Overview
As a Skunk Works Staff Integrated Program Planner, you will lead the planning team for a Skunk Works program. You will develop, maintain, and analyze program schedules, serving as a trusted advisor and modeling planning excellence for the team.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and analyze program schedules for Skunk Works programs.

Collaborate across functional areas—including engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, production, and quality control.

Provide expert use of program planning tools and deliver planning metrics.

Lead scheduling activities, ensuring on‑time, in‑budget, and desired quality outcomes.

Basic Qualifications

U.S. Citizen

Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting; ability to obtain and maintain Final Secret Security Clearance

5+ years of professional experience in operational planning or scheduling

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Proficient with scheduling tools such as Open Plan, Primavera, MS Project, or ProjectView

Demonstrated critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities

Experience developing/maintaining Network Schedules, including integrity checks, critical path analysis, and Schedule Risk Analysis

Experience analyzing planning metrics and trends and implementing actionable improvement plans

Experience delivering project briefings to internal and external customers

Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) including Cost / Schedule Integration

Demonstrated team building, influencing, and relationship management skills

Bachelor’s degree

Desired Skills

Active Secret Security Clearance

Experience as a planning team lead and/or contract planner

Proposal experience

Strong knowledge of LM Program Performance Management (PPM) Command Media

Supplier integration experience, performance analysis, and corrective action recommendation skills

Familiarity with Risk and Opportunity Management, including identification, integration, and mitigation

Deep knowledge of Deltek Open Plan

Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA) experience

Prior aerospace experience

Security Clearance Statement
This position requires a government security clearance. Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen. Clearance level: Secret.

Work Schedule & Location
Locations: Palmdale, CA or Marietta, GA.

Work schedule: 4×10 hour days, 3 days off per week. The employee will work part of the schedule remotely and part at a dedicated Lockheed Martin facility. A 4×10 schedule provides further flexibility.
