Description
The contractor will lead and evaluate supply chain activities including inventory management, procurement, production planning, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
This assignment is integral in developing new forecasting, order replenishment, and logistics channel decision processes.
Assignment tasks include preparing multiple reports and dashboards, managing day-to-day replenishment activities, and answering store replenishment questions.
The contractor will oversee process improvement projects, identify key stakeholders, and educate supply chain stakeholders on new processes.
Additionally, the assignment involves developing decision support tools and financial models to analyze cost/benefit tradeoffs, and analyzing multi-tier distribution channels for cost and service level tradeoffs.
Assignment Tasks
Creates and prepares multiple reports and dashboards; manages day-to-day replenishment activities, answers store replenishment questions, and reports & follows up on all key inventory metrics
Develops decision support tools and financial models to analyze cost/benefit tradeoffs of inventory; analyzes multi-tier distribution channels to determine cost and service level tradeoffs for product categories; develops forecasting tools to support collaborative planning with merchandising suppliers
Supports central replenishment activities including the development of new forecasting tools, inventory forecasting, and replenishment strategies; partners with merchants to plan for promotions, price changes, and exit strategies
