Position Purpose Develops new tools and processes to support supply chain goals and objectives. Identifies problems through analysis, creating sustainable solutions, and influencing key decision makers on supply chain strategies. Supports channel strategy, supply chain metrics, and inventory management strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities
15% Participates in developing new forecasting, order replenishment and logistics channel decision processes.
10% Identifies all key stakeholders, owners, and resources needed to execute. Educates and influences all key supply chain stakeholders on the benefits of the new processes.
15% Develops decision support tools and financial models to analyze the cost/benefit tradeoffs of inventory. Analyzes multi-tier distribution channels to determine cost and service level tradeoffs for product categories. Develops forecasting tools to support collaborative planning with merchandising suppliers.
20% Analyzes and gathers supply chain best practices and develops strategies in support of supply chain business case development. Conducts day-to-day business analysis supporting the supply chain managers.
20% Supports central replenishment activities including: development of new forecasting tools, meeting with vendors to collaborate inventory forecasting and replenishment strategies. Partners with merchants to plan for promotions, price changes, and exit strategies.
20% Manages the day-to-day replenishment activities, answers store replenishment questions and reports and follows up on all key inventory metrics.

Travel Requirements
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Background related to supply chain systems implementation, channel strategy, inventory management strategy or replenishment within a multi-tiered distribution environment.
Retail experience preferred.
Minimum Education
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
