Job Summary
The Service Operations Manager provides leadership for location service operations, manages location service supervisors, and oversees service operations within annual budget projections. The role maintains superior customer and employee relations that support above-average CSP, EOS, NPI, NLS, PINS, FMRG, and DCAL.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Manages the operation of the Service Center, including Shop Service, Field Service, and Administrative Personnel.
Manages budget in line with forecasts, objectives, and overall company policies.
Meets gross profit and PADE objectives.
Supervises and develops the necessary manpower to maintain a functional division in line with company policies and forecasts.
Supervises and executes an annual training program for the division. Promotes Division CC and CPI practices.
Provides and maintains adequate, neat, and safe offices, workshops, yards, vehicles, tools, and other facilities to meet company standards.
Maintains exceptional customer relations.
Maintains high-quality cooperation and communication with all company departments.
Plans and maintains all service facilities.
Ensures the safety of all location personnel.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Skills And Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; two- or four-year degree preferred.
Six years of service experience with heavy machinery, including two years of managerial responsibility.
Proven experience in maintenance, financial management, human relations, training, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate and exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
