About the Role
We’re seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Product Development Assistant
(Gifting) to support the product lifecycle from concept through production. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow within product development. You’ll have the opportunity to support multiple aspects of the development process, working closely with cross-functional teams and gaining broad exposure across the product lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
Support the end-to-end product development lifecycle across footwear, travel accessories, and lifestyle products, from concept through bulk production
Manage and maintain Time & Action (T&A) calendars, ensuring all development milestones and delivery deadlines are met
Track and monitor samples across all stages (proto, SMS, PPS), ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up
Partner with Design and Production teams to review and provide feedback on product samples
Maintain accurate and up-to-date product information in PLM systems, including tech packs, materials, colors, and specifications
Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams (Design, Sales, Production) and overseas vendors
Submit and track design comments to vendors to ensure alignment with product vision and timelines
Organize and maintain development libraries, including materials, trims, color standards, and fabrications
Assist with costing analysis, quote comparisons, and development pricing as needed
Support preparation for meetings, presentations, and product reviews
Conduct basic market research and competitive analysis to support product development
What Success Looks Like
Product development timelines are consistently met through strong organization and follow-up
Samples are accurately tracked and managed across all stages with minimal errors
PLM is consistently maintained with a high level of accuracy
Cross-functional teams experience clear, proactive communication
Who You Are
1+ year of experience in Product Development or related field (internships welcome)
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Strong communicator with ability to work cross-functionally and with overseas partners
Proficient in Excel; PLM experience is a plus
Interest in gifting, accessories, or related product categories preferred

Orly-Corp. provides base salary ranges for all U.S. positions in accordance with applicable laws. The expected base salary range for this role is 58,000 - 68,000.
Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and overall qualifications. We offer a total rewards package, including health benefits, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
