Job Site Laborer
RLM Underground is seeking job site laborers to support restoration and site cleanup for underground telecom construction projects in Mt. Pleasant, WI. This role is essential to maintaining safe, compliant, and professional job sites after utility installation, including backfilling, grading, seeding, and general landscape restoration.
This is a full-time, direct-hire (W-2 employment) opportunity with full employee benefits. Some travel may be required. We will provide a daily per diem for travel requiring an overnight stay. Transportation is provided after you get to the yard & clock in.
Key responsibilities include:
Restore job sites following telecom construction, including grading, leveling, and reseeding disturbed areas
Perform backfill and compaction work around newly installed utilities
Install erosion control materials such as straw, matting, or silt fencing
Remove debris, excess dirt, and construction materials to maintain clean, safe work zones
Operate small equipment and hand tools (rakes, shovels, compactors, etc.)
Follow all safety protocols, traffic control requirements, and company procedures
Communicate with supervisors and crews to ensure restoration meets project and customer standards
Assist with additional field tasks as needed to support construction operations

Qualifications:
Prior experience in landscaping for construction restoration is highly desirable
Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions
Familiarity with basic hand tools and small equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable transportation to the construction yard and a valid driver's license (to operate company vehicles) are required
Ability to work independently and as part of a field crew
