Responsibilities
As part of our team, you will assist with excavation, site preparation, and underground utility installation on large-commercial construction and residential development projects. This is a hands‑on role working outdoors on active job sites alongside experienced operators and crew members.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with excavation, and site preparation
Perform trenching, grading, and general labor duties
Perform hands on installation of underground utilities.
Work safely around heavy equipment
Maintain clean, organized job sites
Follow all safety procedures and supervisor direction
Qualifications
Experience is a plus and pay will reflect that. However, we don’t expect you to know everything on day one and we are willing to train the right candidate. We do expect a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. This role is ideal for someone who:
Shows up on time, every day, ready to work
Follows directions and prioritizes safety
Has a positive attitude and works well with a team
Takes pride in their work
Wants to learn skills like reading grade, using lasers, and eventually operating equipment
Is motivated to grow quickly within the company
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation to and from jobsites or company yard
Ability to pass a drug test
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
