
Materials Planner Intern

Position Overview
INTERNATIONAL Motors Logistics organization is growing in Huntsville site, where engines and transmission are being produced, beside of machined components. Planning, Inbound, Warehouse, Outbound and MRO are main areas of Logistics in Power Train Plant. Materials Inbound is responsible for 800 parts and 200 suppliers.
Responsibilities
Monitor demand towards suppliers and follow-up daily deliveries to avoid delays and disruptions on supply chain.
Act on shortage report, granting material availability to production.
Process receipts (ASN) into ERP systems to keep accurate inventory.
Request for cycle count and process inventory adjustments, when necessary.
Keep stock control, working on correct parameters, avoiding shortage and surplus.
Minimum Requirements
Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
For Legal Jobs: Pursuing a Juris Doctor degree or Doctor of Law degree (J.D.)
Additional Requirements
Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B or F-1 status)
Desired Skills
At least Sophomore standing for undergrad at the time of application
Able to work at least 12 weeks (starting the end of May or early June through August)
Previous applicable internships
Self-starter
High level of computer skills (Microsoft Applications and Internet)
