Senior Millwright – Marine / Terminal Maintenance
Location:
Davant, LA
Pay:
$36-$44 per hour + overtime + benefits + per diem or relocation
Relocation / Per Diem:
Available for High‑level candidates
We’re looking for a seasoned millwright – someone who’s been doing this a long time and knows how to manage the work day from start to finish. This is a working terminal, not a training shop. If you’ve spent 5+ years around conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, motors, and heavy rotating equipment, you’ll understand what the job takes.
This role is for professionals who:
Diagnose problems quickly and fix them the right way
Have performed full mechanical rebuilds — not just parts swaps
Can work independently, safely, and make sound decisions in real‑world conditions
What you’ll be doing:
Maintain and repair conveyor systems, gearboxes, motors, bearings, and drive components
Perform alignments, rigging, welding, and precision mechanical work
Support operations to keep production moving and downtime low
Follow lockout/tagout, PM programs, and terminal safety standards
What we expect:
5+ years millwright or heavy industrial mechanical experience
Strong experience in bulk material handling, terminals, plants, or similar environments
Able to read prints, lead by example, and take ownership of assigned work
Comfortable working outdoors and around marine equipment
Willing to work overtime, nights, or weekends when the job demands it
