What will you do as Bags Value Stream Leader at Sealed Air?
As the Bags Value Stream Leader, you will lead one of the largest and most critical operations within the site, overseeing extrusion, bags press, and bag making. You will drive operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives while developing leadership capability within your team. This is a key site leadership role with strong visibility and a clear succession path toward Plant Manager.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage all operations within the Bags value stream (extrusion, bags press, bag making)
Drive a strong continuous improvement culture across a 300+ employee organization
Ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People performance objectives are achieved
Coach and develop frontline and mid-level leadership (GPLs and TPLs)
Build team capability and ensure people are set up for success
Define and execute short- and long-term production strategies aligned with site goals
Allocate resources effectively to optimize operational performance
Lead hiring and development of key leadership roles within the team (including open Production Manager role)
Partner cross-functionally to support operational excellence
Act as a key member of the site leadership team
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Lean / Continuous Improvement experience or certification - Plus
Strong leadership experience managing large teams (200+ employees) in manufacturing environments
Proven ability to build and sustain a continuous improvement culture
Experience leading high-volume manufacturing operations
Strong operational and business acumen
Ability to coach, develop, and lead leaders
Growth mindset with ambition to progress into broader leadership roles
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Effective communication and stakeholder management
Pay Transparency
$110,400 - $165,800 annually
