Wendy's of Western Virginia, a locally owned franchise with 14 restaurants, invites applications for Shift Manager positions in the Roanoke and Lynchburg areas. The role supports daily operations, staff management, and promotes a high‑quality, fast‑paced dining experience.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the team to create a top‑choice restaurant by delivering the best food in a friendly, fast‑paced environment.
Manage the shift using Wendy’s systems.
Empower and assist staff in achieving organizational goals aligned with “Service Excellence for every customer.”
Perform HR duties that maximize engagement and retention.
Interview and recommend candidates to achieve appropriate staffing levels.
Deliver A+ training for all employees through established systems.
Assist the General Manager with administrative tasks.
Ensure food‑safety procedures meet company and Health Department standards.
What We Expect From You
Restaurant/retail experience, especially customer service.
Flexible schedule availability, including late nights and breakfast shifts.
Strong customer‑service, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and travel to other restaurants or the area office.
