Overview
Wendy's of Western VA, Inc. opened its first restaurant on Electric Road and has since grown to 14 locations in western Virginia. We are committed to delivering high standards in quality, service, and cleanliness, and we value our crew and management as essential assets. Wendy's of Western Virginia is hiring Shift Managers in Roanoke and Lynchburg to support team and store operations.
Responsibilities
Work with your team to create a restaurant of choice by providing the best food in a friendly and fast-paced environment.
Properly manage your shift using Wendy’s systems.
Manage, empower, and assist your team in achieving organizational goals that support our commitment to "Service Excellence for every customer that we serve."
Perform HR duties for employees in a way that maximizes engagement and retention.
Interview and recommend candidates for selection to achieve proper staffing levels.
Provide A+ training for every employee through established systems.
Assist the General Manager with administrative tasks.
Ensure all food safety procedures are executed at a high level, in accordance with Company and Health Department standards.
What We Expect From You
Restaurant/retail experience (experience in serving customers).
Ability to work flexible schedules that may include late nights and breakfast (Most Drive-Thru locations open until Midnight).
Customer service skills, effective communication, leadership and organizational abilities.
Ability to stand for long periods and travel to the bank, other restaurants, or Area Office as needed.
Reliability is required.
