Elizabethtown Heating and Cooling, Inc. is a locally owned and operated HVAC company serving the Elizabethtown, PA and surrounding areas. We provide heating and cooling products and services for all makes and models of residential units. Our owner has over 35 years of experience and we are a PA registered home improvement contractor and fully insured.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and inspection on a wide range of residential equipment
Diagnose and repair residential HVAC equipment
Perform warranty service and emergency repairs
Assist on installation of new residential equipment
Deliver excellent customer service
Possess full HVAC skills including removal of old equipment, installation of new equipment, duct repair or replacement, soldering, brazing, refrigerant leak detection, charging and recovering refrigerant, and measuring system parameters such as pressures and temperatures
Work independently and with co‑workers
Takes direction, completes tasks in a timely and profitable manner
Communicates issues, concerns, or outstanding items to the office for scheduled follow‑up
Diagnoses and explains all problems and options to the client
Maintains a positive attitude with customers, fellow employees, and management
Provides exceptional and respectful customer service to customers
Maintains company‑specified tools, equipment, and organized inventory in your van
Learns about our products and familiarizes yourself with installation methods
Exhibits professional conduct at all times, whether at the job site or driving company vehicles
Identifies and reports any damage to the customer’s property within one hour of first opportunity
Clears the work area after the job has been completed
Uses required personal protective equipment at all times
Follows all safety protocols, regulations, and company policies while driving
Can lift and handle HVAC equipment in tight or awkward conditions
Reports all work‑related injuries and vehicle accidents within one hour of first opportunity
Prepares accurate paperwork
Wears company logo attire and maintains a well‑groomed appearance in accordance with company policies
Other duties as assigned
Works 30+ hours per week
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
2+ years of HVAC experience or completion of a certified HVAC program
EPA 608 Certification Type I and Type II or Universal
Strong communication skills
Obtains licenses as required
Can work in attics and crawl spaces
Able to lift 75 pounds
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
