This position reports to the Director and Academic Coordinator of Upward Bound and requires residential engagement for the duration of the program. Qualifications
Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience working with underrepresented populations, preferably within a residential or youth development setting. Demonstrated ability to mentor and support high school students in both academic and personal development is essential. Applicants should possess strong leadership skills, a positive and professional demeanor, and the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team. A high level of cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
