
Summer Intern- Gateway Project

Arcadis New York City is seeking motivated interns for Summer 2026 to join our Mobility Team delivering the transformative Gateway Program Hudson Tunnel Project. This opportunity is ideal for students eager to develop hands‑on skills in civil infrastructure, project management, policy and communications while contributing to one of the region’s most significant infrastructure initiatives.
Responsibilities
Support project delivery through research, data collection and analysis relevant to your discipline.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on quality control, procurement, design, reporting or stakeholder engagement initiatives.
Assist in preparing presentations, briefings and technical documents for internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in project meetings, site visits and community events to gain practical exposure to large‑scale infrastructure projects.
Contribute to sustainability efforts, compliance and innovation throughout different phases of the project.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, Public Policy, Communications or a related field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive, eager to learn and able to work effectively in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with technical, design or communications software is a plus.
