Quality Technician
The Quality Technician supports various functions within the Quality Department. This includes conducting product testing, analysis, and inspection, performing equipment calibrations, and actively contributing to process improvements.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting testing and inspection of products, including first articles and incoming components.
Ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards during the inspection process.
Analyzing and processing customer returns, addressing issues and implementing corrective actions.
Maintaining the calibration of measurement and inspection devices to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Preparing comprehensive test reports and graphs, maintaining accurate records.
Assisting in Corrective Action/Preventive Action (CA/PA) activities and participating in process improvement initiatives.
Performing Positive Material Identification (PMI) analysis on materials.
Providing assistance in conducting internal ISO and Safety audits to ensure compliance.
Minimum qualifications include:
Basic math skills.
Ability to perform dimensional measurements using tools like rulers, calipers, and gauges.
Proficient in interpreting mechanical drawings accurately.
Strong analytical and judgment skills.
Basic skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Preferred skills include:
High School Diploma with a minimum of 3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
