Golf Course Maintenance Laborer (Part Time)

This part time position assists with the maintenance and upkeep of the golf course grounds.
Essential Job Functions

Performs maintenance functions at the golf course and related facilities.
Assists with performing repairs to the irrigation system.
Maintains sand bunkers including raking and edging.
Performs general maintenance and minor repairs to equipment.
Operates manual and power tools and equipment.
Operates light duty riding mowers.
Performs leaf and debris cleanup and removal.
Trims and maintains trees on the golf course property.
Painting and cleaning projects.
Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
Other Job Functions

Perform all other work assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Basic understanding of the game of golf.
Ability to operate various power tools and golf course related equipment.
Understanding of basic maintenance of motor driven equipment.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Required Education, Training, and Experience

High school diploma or G.E.D.
At least one year of experience working at a golf facility.

Pushing/Pulling (Frequently 60-90%)
Lifting up to 60 lbs. (Occasionally 30-60%)
Driving-Light Mowers (Occasionally 30-60%)
Exposure to extreme noise conditions (Constantly 90-100%)
Exposure to potential Hazardous Conditions-Fumes & Chemicals (Rarely 0-30%)
Exposure to extreme weather conditions (Occasionally 30-60%)
