Position Overview: GTI Energy is seeking a Manufacturing Manager – Paint to lead coating operations across multiple production lines and shifts. The Manufacturing Manager will oversee Manufacturing Supervisors and Production Supervisors while driving coating quality, throughput, and operational performance. This role is responsible for scaling paint operations and maintaining ISO9001 quality standards in a contract manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead paint and coating operations across multiple teams and shifts
Oversee surface preparation, coating application, and finishing processes
Ensure production aligns with on‑time delivery, on‑time release, and throughput KPIs
Manage execution of paint schedules and material flow
Drive Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S, and Kaizen across coating operations
Apply Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, and Fishbone methodologies
Improve coating quality, reduce defects, and increase efficiency
Own KPIs including throughput, inventory turns, quality, safety, and on‑time delivery
Ensure ISO9001 compliance across paint and coating processes
Drive performance improvements across cost, quality, and efficiency
Lead and develop Paint Supervisors, Production Supervisors, and coating teams
Build a high‑performance culture within a contract manufacturing environment
Support workforce training and process standardization
Required Qualifications
7–12 years of experience as a Manufacturing Manager, Production Manager, or Paint Manager
Experience in industrial manufacturing or contract manufacturing
Strong background in industrial coatings and paint processes
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
Preferred Qualifications
Engineering or industrial background
Experience with powder coating, wet paint, or finishing systems
Six Sigma or structured problem‑solving experience
