About the Role
You’ll own:
The backend systems powering the agent runtime
Migration of model hosting and agent deployment to in-house infrastructure
This is
not a pure DevOps role
— ~80% backend coding.
Key Responsibilities
Agent Runtime & Backend
Build plugin runtime (position tracking, exit engine, state management)
Develop rules engine and scanner gateway (YAML-configurable)
Build centralized exit systems (RatchetStop backend)
Maintain execution layer (agent exchange interface)
Develop real-time data pipeline (Redis, Postgres, ClickHouse)
Model & Agent Hosting
Build agent deployment platform (isolated environments, scheduling, state)
Implement model hosting strategy (external APIs self-hosted inference)
Capture full agent telemetry
Build CI/CD for live agent updates (zero downtime)
Infrastructure & Ops
Monitoring and alerting systems
AWS/EKS infrastructure management
Incident response and reliability
Requirements
Staff-level backend engineer (Go, Python, TypeScript)
Experience building systems from scratch
Real-time systems experience (low latency, websockets)
Strong DB experience (Postgres, Redis, analytics DBs)
Kubernetes (AWS EKS)
Full ownership of production systems
Bonus Skills
LLM/model serving infra (vLLM, TGI, etc.)
Trading / fintech systems
Onchain infrastructure
Multi-agent systems
CI/CD for live systems
