Overview
When you work in Freight Logistics and Operations at Kuehne+Nagel, you play a key role in optimising processes and ensuring that inventory and shipments move efficiently. Your work also helps ensure that vital medicines reach patients on time and supports other essential deliveries, from wind turbines to semiconductors.
How you create impact
Monitor and track healthcare and life sciences shipments through active alarm management and milestone verification
Ensure all time- and temperature-sensitive shipments remain compliant throughout transit
Communicate effectively with airlines, carriers, and service partners to resolve issues and maintain service standards
Collaborate closely with Customer Service, CRMs, and Key Account Managers to maximize client satisfaction
Identify, investigate, and escalated discrepancies or service disruptions, keeping management and customers informed
Manage inbound bookings and operational inquiries through shared mailboxes and phone communication
Maintain accurate shipment documentation in compliance with country regulations, GDP, and ISO requirements
Support quality control processes by identifying gaps and recommending service or productivity improvements
Utilise internal systems (including Quick Enterprise systems and QuickTrac) to ensure operational accuracy
Promote teamwork, professionalism, and adherence to company policies and training requirements
Shift: Monday to Sunday (Wednesday & Saturday off) - 2pm to 10pm (Sunday 12pm to 8pm)
What we would like you to bring
2+ years of experience in air courier, freight forwarding, or logistics operations (healthcare or cold chain preferred)
Strong understanding of time‑critical, temperature‑controlled, or biopharmaceutical shipments
Proficiency in MS Office and logistics operating systems; strong written and verbal English skills required
Ability to work under pressure with flexibility for off‑hours schedules, including evenings or holidays as needed
IATA Dangerous Goods certification and second‑language fluency are strong assets
