About the Opportunity
The Business Development Manager is responsible for growing Taymor’s pull-through sales interaction and sales of our strategic products (mid-elevated locks and wall mounted bath) in the multi-family residential builder market and increasing our developer wallet share. This is achieved by cultivating and building strong relationships with targeted multi-family developers and their ecosystem influencers of interior designers, architects, general contractors, and distributors and gaining specification support in key strategic metropolitan growth markets. The Business Development Manager is also responsible for cultivating relationships and managing a customer base of multi-family residential distributor accounts and owning all the ecosystem relationships supporting Taymor’s Heroic Sales Management Process (HSMP).

Relationship Management (30%)

Build and maintain strong relationships with multi-family developers and key project influencers.

Present Taymor’s value proposition and support account planning aligned with corporate goals.

Drive brand preference by engaging ecosystem partners and attending industry events.

Collaborate with internal teams to deepen customer engagement and ensure long-term retention.

Opportunity Management (60%)

Identify and pursue multi-family project opportunities using lead sources and market research.

Manage and convert a robust sales pipeline through all project stages using CRM tools.

Secure specifications for new and existing products, and drive adoption through consultative selling.

Track and analyze wins/losses, capture competitor insights, and optimize project conversion strategies.

Coordinate project timelines to ensure timely orders, inventory planning, and delivery execution.

Delivery & Support (10%)

Conduct site visits and inspections to support quality assurance and customer experience.

Provide product samples, spec crossovers, and support for model suites and leasing centers.

Facilitate keying system discussions and project setup with partners.

About You
To qualify, you will need 5years of experience in a direct Business-to-Business (B2B) sales role , with proven track record in major account selling and be located somewhere near Phoenix, Denver or Salt Lake City. Will need to be willing and able to travel for multi-day trips frequently.

We are looking for individuals who follow effective sales strategies that are both persuasive and emphatic, by actively listening to the customers to assess the situation quickly. You are effortless in gaining insights on pain points that you can present solutions to.

In addition, you must have a strong knowledge and experience in:

Understanding outside / field sales environment

Comprehending relevant market trends within your territory

Using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software as a strategic tool

Analyzing metrics and KPIs to create new opportunities and beat sales goals

Experience in the interior design industry will be considered an asset, but not required. Sales experts with builder pull-through and specification, door, hardware, or plumbing wholesale channels are encouraged to apply!
