Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care for neonates, specifically those aged 27 weeks and older. The ideal candidate will exhibit proficiency in NICU practices and possess the ability to float between regional facilities as needed.
Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonates in a fast-paced NICU environment.
Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Provide emotional support and education to families regarding neonate care.
Maintain a safe and sterile environment in compliance with healthcare protocols.
Schedule
This position is scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week with a guaranteed minimum of 24 hours.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 24 months of recent NICU experience within the last 12 months.
Active Colorado RN license with no hits.
Current BLS, NRP, and CO CAPS certifications from approved vendors (AHA, ARC, or ASHI).
Valid driver’s license to verify residency.
Travel experience is highly preferred.
