Summary Description
Under general supervision, performs responsible secretarial and clerical work in a large school office. The role consists of serving as the principal office assistant to one or more school administrators, providing secretarial services for assigned supervisors and performing varied office clerical tasks. Responsibilities include responsible contacts with students, parents, and others, exercising considerable independence and judgment.
Physical Demands : Designated positions may require sustained operation of keyboard devices.
Special Requirements : Spanish speaker preferred.

Strong organizational skills and ability to multi‑task with flexibility in schedule and duty assignments.
Proficiency in typewriter operation as well as word processing and computer equipment.
Good human relations and communication skills.
Knowledge of and ability to meet the seven core competencies of the Supporting Services Professional Growth System (SSPGS).
Education, Training, & Experience
High School diploma or GED (required).
Minimum one year of responsible secretarial, fiscal, and clerical work in a busy office environment.
Other combinations of education, training, and experience that provide the necessary knowledge, abilities, and skills may be considered.
