Overview
Sign-on Bonus Available! Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., with rotating holidays.
Responsibilities
Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA ’88), OSHA, and other applicable regulatory and established standards as may be applicable. Performs venipunctures at entities where applicable, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures. Assists technical staff in non‑clinical tasks.
Qualifications
Education
H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) – Required
Work Experience
No experience required – Required
1 year of experience as a phlebotomist – Preferred
Experience in performing EKGs – Preferred
Experience working in healthcare or clinical laboratory setting – Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
None Required – Required
Additional Licenses and Certifications
Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA, or equivalent agency – Preferred
