LNA – Geropsychi (GPU)
About The Job
The LNA, under general direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager and direct supervision of the RN, is an integral member of the care delivery team by performing direct and indirect patient care through clinical tasks within the scope of LNA practice and by providing personal care and emotional support.
What You’ll Do
Activities of daily living
Report all observations, symptoms, deviations from normal, and changes in patient’s condition to RN
Provide basic support to patients and families
Documents in selected areas of the medical record as appropriate
Who You Are
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
Current New Hampshire licensure as LNA required
Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment
Aggression de-escalation training approved by EHS
