Community Health Worker

Marlborough Community Coalition, Kansas City, MO, United States

Community Health Workers (CHWs) canvass neighborhoods, engaging directly with community members to implement violence prevention strategies and strengthen relationships between the Marlborough United (AIM4Peace) program and the communities most impacted by violence. Through consistent presence, outreach, and trust-building, CHWs serve as frontline public health practitioners working to reduce violence and promote safer, healthier communities.
